Is it all the hype

Stryker is trying to recruit me for the Nuero, Spinal, ENT division for the Portland, OR. Can anyone provide feedback on this division? Good, Bad all input is appreciated. Any salary, quota expectations, overall take on the division is greatly appreciated. I don't work in the med device field and have a solid job but looking to make some coin if it's all what the recruiter says it's cracked up to be

Dude if you aren't in the industry but could get in with Stryker then you need to take it. Trust me, best decision I made. The company and division is great. The only thing I would say is make sure you gel with the hiring manager. Otherwise, you will be happy and set.

this would be a full-time position. Based on company earnings Spine, ENT Division showed only a 9% growth in revenue compared to other divisions such as MedSurg 29%. Seems like a bit of a gamble if sales are fla

If the money they quoted is significantly better than where you're at then I'd take it. You can't get much better than Stryker and you can always try to move into a better division once you've proven yourself.

Stryker is great and they've invested in new ENT tech through acquisition in the last two years because their other products were fine, but never stood out compared to Medtronic and others. Entellus is one of the companies and they are good but the balloon industry isn't growing anymore. Therefore, Entellus is the tallest of the midgets. The other company they bought is Spirox who sells a product called Latera. The academy came out with a negative position on it and sales are basically dead.

Are you interviewing for a full line rep or associate because that makes a difference?
