Patterson Dental Layoffs

Once beloved Patterson Dental is turning into a corner store and not the wholesale market they want you to believe. Run away before another round of layoffs similar to the 500 who were let go 6 months ago. Do yourself a favor. Trust me.

Not so fast. Zimmer is looking to sell off their dental division. Patterson could be an ideal landing spot.

Walchirk can't figure out how to run one business, let alone another one. This will not happen.

Patterson is more of an animal health company these days and not a dental company. Those days are over. Margins are shrinking and competition is coming from all directions. Dental being a cash business forces dental professionals to search for the absolute best cost. There is no loyalty.

What is the first thing that happens when margins shrink? Sales layoffs. Expect more on the dental side of the business.

My friend is over at Zimmer dental and there has been layoffs and restructuring going on for a while. The division over there is a mess. I think it's happening at a lot of companies in dental.

Amazon getting in on the dental business would be the best thing that's ever happened to Patterson but they are too dumb to realise it.
