Nevro in 2019 and Beyond

The last two years has been a nightmare for Nevro. The CEO has proved to be a control freak, going through two VP's after a truly good one left the company. We should have seen the writing on the wall at that time. A majority of the initial reps have left, comp is down, quotas are high. It's clear that changes need to be made.

So what does the future hold in 2019 and what changes do you predict or want for the company going forward? Let them hear you....we know they're reading.

Rami consistently talked about growing the team slowly when Enxing was there. I believe that changed when Enxing left and Rami went all schizo.

Enxing is the most brilliant idiot I've ever met. Absolutely brilliant and yes, absolutely an idiot!

When was the plan ever to “slowly expand the sales team”? Nervo went from a handful of reps to over 200 one year. Then they rode everyone into the dirt with crazy quotas and a ridiculous, self-defeating sales strategy. **** this place.

The preliminary numbers for 2018 look really bad. If I was the board, Rami would be getting a lot of tough questions. His plan has been schizophrenic which is why he needs a VP.

Originally the goal was to slowly expand the sales team so the reps could build the business by growing customers SCS practices. Then everyone quit or were fired. Next they had to hire replacements. Then those reps quit or were fired. And again it happened. Now it seems like they are expanding more than just the reps they need to replace.

The SCS business is dog eat dog. I honestly don't believe surgeons think there is a big enough difference between products so price and rep continuity will be the key to maintaining and growing the business.

With all the layoffs and reps leaving, is it possible to keep a high level of continuity in the sales team? Based on what I'm seeing, no. Next, can we compete on price? Nope again.

Growth is done at Nevro unless a product comes out that I haven't heard about.

Still no new VP?

We don’t need a new CEO, we need reps that can do their job. The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Typical Nevro manager right there. What’s really sad is that’s exactly what Rami wants.

I predict zero changes until Nervo has a new CEO. Happy new yea

Two VPs since Exing? That’s worse than I thought. Time to cut my losses on NVRO or is a comeback in the making???

I guess the amount of VP's depends on what you consider Rami: The CEO, VP of Sales...or both.
