All Bio sales reps were laid off last week. The responsibilities are being transferred to the core spine reps. Two senior directors in Bio are also gone. Sad.

There have been so many good people who have lost their jobs recently and now there is speculation of more layoff happening on 5/16.

A lot of people walking in Memphis today, walking with their feet ten feet off of Beale.

Meanwhile at Stryker Spine: Neurotechnology and spine sales were up 20.7 percent to $700 million. The organic net sales increased 7.8 percent in the quarter, including a 8.9 percent unit volume increase. Spine sales were driven by a 38.6 percent sales increase in the U.S.; the neurotechnology sales were up 16.1 percent at $465 million.

About a third of the projects did not get funded for FY20. Hold on tight for a bumpy ride.

Polished my resume and started the process of finding a new job. Doing my part to help reduce the workforce.

I wonder if TC is waiting to announce the reorg because a RIF is involved? Just over three weeks until the new fiscal year and the typical window for layoffs. But R&D is so short staffed that it is hard to imagine further cuts.
