GI Capital position - looking for information - good/bad/ugly

Will someone please help answer some questions about the GI Capital position - a sincere Thank You for any answers and insight!

I was told $50K base, $175 at plan - all expenses, benes, car allowance. I'm assuming this is negotiable? Is quota attainable? What are top reps making? Is the commission uncapped?

Does MDT judge you by your results only, or has MDT turned into a SFDC rep tracking company, spending time with activity/call reports, and BS paperwork/reports?

Please add any additional information that you would like. I have spoken to many GI reps and Capital reps and most seem happy, but I'm looking for the dirt as well.

This is a spot for the top reps in gis. Great opportunity to make serious $$$ and **** out the $175k.

Recently acquired capital company plus the inclusion of ablation; thus continually changing and adding opportunities.

But yes, with any big company, you will use sfdc and have to work your pipeline. And same for managers. Give it a serious loo

Any word on what’s going on with the reorganization? It so up in the air it could be layoffs, more hirings, and a bag of 9 products haha.

The capital process is a lot of work but there is no reason you shouldn't hit close to 200k if you're doing all the right activities to drive a sale. If you've sold capital before, you know it can take a bit of time to move the business and you'll need to deal with the hospital budgeting process, constant follow-up, get surgeon champions....all the things you've done before to develop the market. This is a very good job if you can get it.

This is one of the better jobs at the "new" Medtronic.
