Dean Beilke Keep up the great work Omar! You and your management team have guaranteed that distribution for your company will never again live up to the quality standards that customers once appreciated when the Joliet, IL. center was operational. You get what you pay for! I'm sure Medtronic is happy to be rid of it’s last union shop in the U.S., but when you pay DC workers $12.50/hr, your customers will suffer. Talk to people working in customer service, I’m sure they’ll confirm what I’m saying.

Agreed about the New Haven office. These people lie about having degrees. Too many running around, going to start asking for proof now. Why do people have to lie?

This company should do some internal investigating on it's own employees, since most are known to lie about their education and qualifications, particularly in their New Haven operation. SHUT IT DOWN ALREADY!

Medtronic would be better served eliminating half of the hundreds of VP and middle management jobs. The word empty suits come to mind.

The Implant Files article will hit Medtronic harder than they’re letting on. 2019 is going to be a year of changes at Medtronic.

Unless the people who are generating the revenue on the front lines are being paid to fight and grow the business, all the strategy work done in a boardroom won’t matter. The business will feel that impact and Wall St. will see those results, or lack thereof. The company is in a precarious position. The “Mission” that was once a driving force within the company, is and has been a figment of people’s imagination, for some time. Bad culture and deteriorating compensation is diluting the quality of the employee(s). Good people have left and will be leaving at an increasing pace.

There are several positions within RTG that need to be filled (sorry, not saying what division) and we were told they cannot be filled because of a hiring freeze. Is this true? Others having the same problem with a hiring freeze?

What positions were affected and how many people? There are MCS openings all over the place in Mass. Can't they come up with a plan to backfill one of those positions with someone else so they don't have to layoff others in Mass?
