Medtronic Diabetes Sales Rep

How much of a patient's diabetes supplies and products can be ordered online and how does the company track those sales for a Medtronic Diabetes sales reps territory quota? Is this more like a pharma job?

Medtronic Diabetes Customer Service

A diabetes customer service rep has to be the most thankless job in the company. They have nothing to do with how the product works but they take all the blame. Good for them because I would go crazy listening to all the btching all day.

Will the products sold at these clinics help front line sales diabetes reps? Will they get credit for the sales?

Medtronic seeks to expand labeling for MiniMed 670G

Smart move by Medtronic Diabetes! Always looking to steal more money from Medicare!!

Medtronic (MDT 0.3%) has filed an application with the FDA seeking approval for non-adjunctive labeling for its Guardian Sensor 3, part of the MiniMed 670G closed-loop insulin pump system.

Non-adjunctive status means that the sensor is accurate enough to safely and consistently calculate an insulin dose for meals and to correct high blood sugar levels.

Medicare requires non-adjunctive labeling for sensor reimburs…

Medtronic warns older insulin pumps could be vulnerable to hacking

I am so glad you wrote this because it is exactly what I am thinking. They are desperate to make it appear that their new pump the 670G is popular. I have an older pump on the list and am not giving it up. Do you have any details on what the recall involves? Do patients have to pay for the new pump? Do we have to send our old one back? What makes these pumps more susceptible to hackers than the new ones? Something is very rotten here.

Ridiculous goals in the Diabetes endo division. Nobody is going to make any money. Betting many top reps leave. Senior leadership seems to only get worse and more clueless. Despite changes at the top strategy, morale, and incentive comp plans laughable.

Medtronic Diabetes T1D Tandem Diabetes Facebook Troll

This is the exact reason why Tandem cannot compete with us. We are like 20 times the size of them and everyone else except Abbott. We could literally hire the worst customer service reps and not train them and patients would still use Medtronic products.
