Does anyone find this odd?

More important, does management know about this?

Stop spreading fake news. Contracts are set from JNJ to the GPO and hospital. Amazon is in no way involved. If a hospital or surgery center tries to off load product on Amazon then that's on them. ethicon is not selling product on Amazon.

Our company store would get a lot better if Amazon wanted to buy us!

I read a slide presentation about this and it said that so many people already trust Amazon and understand how to order from them, making the switch to a hospital based ordering system from Amazon would be relatively seamless. Who knows what they will do though. You hear a lot of rumors about them getting into everything so knowing what they will actually do is impossible.

And where do the sales reps go in this situation?

As weird as it may sound, that could be a great move for Amazon and it would help JNJ get out of this business. They haven't cared about it in years.

JNJ needs all the sales help that can get. They run their business like a lost puppy.

Good bye to the ethicon sales team. And players like Applied are all but washed up if this happens.

Been going on for years. Ebay is also over flowing with various Ethicon products.

Yes, just think, not only would we get discounted baby powder and Aveeno facewash, Bezos will throw in a free Prime membership to JNJ employees with more than 5 years experience.
