What a sad situation for the patient and it should be for Ascension Health but the executives tend to put more emphasis on profits than patients.

A patient went to Ascension Southeast Wisconsin on December 17th with chest pains and a sonogram uncovered a heart related issue. His primary physician wanted him admitted "due to the serious nature of the sonogram results" but the hospital didn't have enough beds that afternoon so he was sent home!

Ascension Sued to Keep Providence Health System's ER Open

Sometimes it's not only about money.
