Amazon has consistently proved doubters wrong in EVERY single industry they've entered so it's hard for me to say they can't be successful. However, what do you mean that they can make the supply chain more efficient? I don't envision Amazon handling anything with manufacturing. They are more likely to leverage better contracting between hospitals and device companies. Even that sounds weird...why can't medical device companies do a better job at this?
